Felipe Assadi is an architect who graduated from the Universidad Finis Terrae in 1996 and later received a Master's in Architecture from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. In 1999 he was honored with the Young Promotion Prize by the Colegio de Arquitectos de Chile, which is awarded to the best architect in the country under 35 years of age. Between 2008 and 2011 he was Director of the School of Architecture of the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Universidad Andrés Bello and he has also lectured at Universidad Finis Terrae, Universidad de Talca, Universidad Diego Portales, Mexican universities Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Monterrey and Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, the Colombian institutions Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín and Universidad de Los Andes, and the Università Iuav di Venezia in Italy. He has been invited to speak at conferences in Venezuela, Peru, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Argentina, the United States, Italy and Spain. His work has been published in magazines in various countries including Wallpaper and Architectural Review in London, Arquitectura Viva and AV Monografías en Madrid, Architectural Record in New York, GA in Tokyo, and Domus and Casabella in Italia, among others, as well as in specialized books all over the world. He has taken part in expositions in Barcelona, Pamplona, London, Quito, Tokyo and Santiago. His works have been developed in Chile, Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, the United States, Ecuador and Colombia.
To date he has four monographs; in Chile, Spain, South Korea and in Argentina. Since 2011 he has been Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Universidad Finis Terrae.
