Cristián Undurraga is an architect from the Universidad Católica de Chile, where he graduated with honors in 1977.

In 1978 he founded the firm Undurraga Devés Arquitectos.

In 1991 he won the Andrea Palladio International Architecture Award for his work on the "Casa del Cerro".

Since 1977 the work of Undurraga Deves has been recognized in every edition of the Architectural Biennial in Chile.

In 2004 he was honored with the International Award at the Pan American Biennial in Quito, Ecuador

In 2005 he received the Gold Medal at the International Biennial in Miami.

Between 1980 and 2004 Undurraga also taught at the School of Architecture at the Universidad Católica de Chile.

His work has been published and exhibited in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

In 2009 he was named an Honorary Fellow of the American Institute of Architecture.

In 2012 he won the Premio Internazionale di Architettura Sacra
